When Waking Up 1

ٱلْحَمْدُ Praise is
لِلَّهِ to Allah
ٱلَّذِي Who
أَحْيَانَا gives us life
بَعْدَ after
أَمَاتَنَا He has caused us to die
وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him
ٱلنُّشُورُ is the return
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَآ أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ Praise is to Allah Who gives us life after He has caused us to die and to Him is the return.

When Waking Up 2

لَآ There is none
إِلَهَ worthy of worship
إِلَّا but
ٱللَّهُ Allah
وَحْدَهُ alone
لَا no
شَرِيكَ partner
لَهُ، for Him
لَهُ His
ٱلْمُلْكُ is the dominion
وَلَهُ and to Him
ٱلْحَمْدُ، belongs all praise
وَهُوَ and He is
عَلَى upon
كُلِّ all
شَيْءٍ things
قَدِيرٌ. powerful
سُبْحَٰنَ Glory
ٱللَّهِ، is to Allah
وَٱلْحَمْدُ Praise
لِلَّهِ، is to Allah
وَلَآ There is none
إِلَهَ worthy of worship
إِلَّا but
ٱللَّهُ، Allah
وَٱللَّهُ Allah
أَكْبَرُ، is the Most Great
وَلَا There is no
حَوْلَ might
وَلَا and no
قُوَّةَ power
إِلَّا except
بِٱللَّهِ by Allah's leave
ٱلْعَلِيِّ the Exalted
ٱلْعَظِيمِ، the Mighty
رَبِّ My Lord
ٱغْفِرْلِي forgive me
لَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. سُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ، وَٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ، وَٱللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَظِيمِ، رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْلِي There is none worthy of worship but Allah alone, Who has no partner.  His is the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Able to do all things.  Glory is to Allah.  Praise is to Allah.  There is none worthy of worship but Allah.  Allah is the Most Great.  There is no might and no power except by Allah's leave, the Exalted, the Mighty.  My Lord, forgive me.

When Waking Up 3

ٱلْحَمْدُ Praise
لِلَّهِ is to Allah
ٱلَّذِي Who
عَافَانِي gave strength
فِى to
جَسَدِي، my body
وَرَدَّ and returned
عَلَيَّ to me
رُوحِي، my soul
وَأَذِنَ and permitted
لِي me
بِذِكْرِهِ to remember Him
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي عَافَانِي فِى جَسَدِي، وَرَدَّ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي، وَأَذِنَ لِي بِذِكْرِهِ Praise is to Allah Who gave strength to my body and returned my soul to me and permitted me to remember Him.

ءَايَٰتُهَا ٢٠٠ Verses 200
سُورَةُ ءَالْعِمْرَٰنَ Chapter The Family of Imraan
رُكُوعَاتُهَا ٢٠ Rukus 20

إِنَّ Indeed,
فِى in
خَلْقِ (the) creation
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth
وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ and (in the) alternation
ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day
لَءَايَٰتٍۢ (are) surely Signs
لِّأُو۟لِى for men
ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ (of) understanding.
۝١٩٠ (190)
إِنَّ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ لَءَايَٰتٍۢ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ ۝١٩٠ (190) In the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day, there are surely signs for men of understanding.
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who
يَذْكُرُونَ remember
ٱللَّهَ Allah
قِيَٰمًۭا standing,
وَقُعُودًۭا and sitting
وَعَلَىٰ and on
جُنُوبِهِمْ their sides
وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ and they reflect
فِى on
خَلْقِ (the) creation
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth,
رَبَّنَا "Our Lord,
مَا not
خَلَقْتَ You have created
هَٰذَا this
بَٰطِلًۭا (in) vain.
سُبْحَٰنَكَ Glory be to You,
فَقِنَا so save us
عَذَابَ (from the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire.
۝١٩١ (191)
ٱلَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمًۭا وَقُعُودًۭا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلًۭا سُبْحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ۝١٩١ (191) Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and (lying) on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord, Thou has not created this in Vain! Glory be to Thee! Save us from the chastisement of the Fire.
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord,
إِنَّكَ indeed [You]
مَن whom
تُدْخِلِ You admit
ٱلنَّارَ (to) the Fire
فَقَدْ then surely
أَخْزَيْتَهُۥ You (have) disgraced him,
وَمَا and not
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ for the wrongdoers
مِنْ (are) any
أَنصَارٍۢ helpers.
۝١٩٢ (192)
رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ ٱلنَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُۥ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍۢ ۝١٩٢ (192) Our Lord, whomsoever Thou makest enter the Fire, him Thou indeed bringest to disgrace. And there will be no helpers for the wrongdoers.
رَّبَّنَآ Our Lord,
إِنَّنَا indeed we
سَمِعْنَا [we] heard
مُنَادِيًۭا a caller
يُنَادِى calling
لِلْإِيمَٰنِ to the faith
أَنْ that
ءَامِنُوا۟ 'Believe
بِرَبِّكُمْ in your Lord,'
فَـَٔامَنَّا so we have believed.
رَبَّنَا Our Lord
فَٱغْفِرْ so forgive
لَنَا for us
ذُنُوبَنَا our sins
وَكَفِّرْ and remove
عَنَّا from us
سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا our evil deeds,
وَتَوَفَّنَا and cause us to die
مَعَ with
ٱلْأَبْرَارِ the righteous.
۝١٩٣ (193)
رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًۭا يُنَادِى لِلْإِيمَٰنِ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَـَٔامَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلْأَبْرَارِ ۝١٩٣ (193) Our Lord, surely we have heard a Crier calling to the faith, saying: Believe in your Lord. So we do believe. Our Lord, grant us protection from our sins and remove our evils and make us die with the righteous.
رَبَّنَا Our Lord,
وَءَاتِنَا grant us
مَا what
وَعَدتَّنَا You promised us
عَلَىٰ through
رُسُلِكَ Your Messengers
وَلَا and (do) not
تُخْزِنَا disgrace us
يَوْمَ (on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ (of) [the] Resurrection.
إِنَّكَ Indeed, You
لَا (do) not
تُخْلِفُ break
ٱلْمِيعَادَ the promise."
۝١٩٤ (194)
رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ ٱلْمِيعَادَ ۝١٩٤ (194) Our Lord, grant us what Thou hast promised us by Thy messengers and disgrace us not on the day of Resurrection. Surely Thou never failest in (Thy) promise!
فَٱسْتَجَابَ Then responded
لَهُمْ to them
رَبُّهُمْ their Lord,
أَنِّى "Indeed, I
لَآ (will) not
أُضِيعُ (let go) waste
عَمَلَ deeds
عَٰمِلٍۢ (of the) doer
مِّنكُم among you
مِّن [from]
ذَكَرٍ (whether) male
أَوْ or
أُنثَىٰ female
بَعْضُكُم each of you
مِّنۢ from
بَعْضٍۢ (the) other.
فَٱلَّذِينَ So those who
هَاجَرُوا۟ emigrated
وَأُخْرِجُوا۟ and were driven out
مِن from
دِيَٰرِهِمْ their homes,
وَأُوذُوا۟ and were harmed
فِى in
سَبِيلِى My way
وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ and fought
وَقُتِلُوا۟ and were killed -
لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ surely I (will) remove
عَنْهُمْ from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ their evil deeds
وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ and surely I will admit them
جَنَّٰتٍۢ (to) Gardens
تَجْرِى flowing
مِن from
تَحْتِهَا underneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers -
ثَوَابًۭا a reward
مِّنْ from
عِندِ [near]
ٱللَّهِ Allah.
وَٱللَّهُ And Allah -
عِندَهُۥ with Him
حُسْنُ (is the) best
ٱلثَّوَابِ reward."
۝١٩٥ (195)
فَٱسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّى لَآ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَٰمِلٍۢ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَىٰ ۖ بَعْضُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْضٍۢ ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا۟ وَأُخْرِجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِمْ وَأُوذُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِى وَقَٰتَلُوا۟ وَقُتِلُوا۟ لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ثَوَابًۭا مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥ حُسْنُ ٱلثَّوَابِ ۝١٩٥ (195) So their Lord accepted their prayer, (saying): I will not suffer the work of any worker among you to be lost whether male or female, the one of you being the other. So those who fled and were driven forth from their homes and persecuted in My way and who fought and were slain, I shall truly remove their evil and make them enter Gardens wherein flow rivers -- a reward from Allah. And with Allah is the best reward.
لَا (Let) not
يَغُرَّنَّكَ deceive you
تَقَلُّبُ (the) movement
ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved
فِى in
ٱلْبِلَٰدِ the land.
۝١٩٦ (196)
لَا يَغُرَّنَّكَ تَقَلُّبُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ ۝١٩٦ (196) Let not control in the land of those who disbelieve, deceive thee.
مَتَٰعٌۭ An enjoyment
قَلِيلٌۭ little,
ثُمَّ then
مَأْوَىٰهُمْ their abode
جَهَنَّمُ (is) hell -
وَبِئْسَ [and] a wretched
ٱلْمِهَادُ [the] resting place.
۝١٩٧ (197)
مَتَٰعٌۭ قَلِيلٌۭ ثُمَّ مَأْوَىٰهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ ۝١٩٧ (197) A brief enjoyment! Then their abode is hell. And evil is the resting-place.
لَٰكِنِ But
ٱلَّذِينَ those who
ٱتَّقَوْا۟ fear
رَبَّهُمْ their Lord,
لَهُمْ for them
جَنَّٰتٌۭ (will be) Gardens
تَجْرِى flows
مِن from
تَحْتِهَا underneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ the rivers,
خَٰلِدِينَ will abide forever
فِيهَا in it -
نُزُلًۭا a hospitality
مِّنْ from
عِندِ [near]
ٱللَّهِ Allah.
وَمَا And that
عِندَ (which is) with
ٱللَّهِ Allah
خَيْرٌۭ (is) best
لِّلْأَبْرَارِ for the righteous.
۝١٩٨ (198)
لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلًۭا مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ ۝١٩٨ (198) But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are Gardens wherein flow rivers, to abide therein; and entertainment from their Lord. And that which Allah has in store for the righteous is best.
وَإِنَّ And indeed,
مِنْ among
أَهْلِ (the) People
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ (of) the Book
لَمَن (are those) who
يُؤْمِنُ believe
بِٱللَّهِ in Allah
وَمَآ and what
أُنزِلَ was revealed
إِلَيْكُمْ to you
وَمَآ and what
أُنزِلَ was revealed
إِلَيْهِمْ to them  -
خَٰشِعِينَ humbly submissive
لِلَّهِ to Allah.
لَا They (do) not exchange
بِـَٔايَٰتِ [with] (the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah
ثَمَنًۭا (for) a price
قَلِيلًا little.
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ Those,
لَهُمْ for them,
أَجْرُهُمْ their reward
عِندَ (is) with
رَبِّهِمْ their Lord.
إِنَّ Indeed,
ٱللَّهَ Allah
سَرِيعُ (is) swift
ٱلْحِسَابِ (in taking) the account.
۝١٩٩ (199)
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَٰشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًا ۗ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ ۝١٩٩ (199) And of the People of the Book there are those who believe in Allah and (in) that which as been revealed to you and (in) that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allah -- they take not a small price for the messages of Allah. These it is that have their reward with their Lord. Surely Allah is Swift to take account!
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا O you
ٱلَّذِينَ who
ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d]
ٱصْبِرُوا۟ Be steadfast
وَصَابِرُوا۟ and [be] patient
وَرَابِطُوا۟ and [be] constant
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ and fear
ٱللَّهَ Allah
لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may
تُفْلِحُونَ (be) successful.
۝٢٠٠ (200)
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱصْبِرُوا۟ وَصَابِرُوا۟ وَرَابِطُوا۟ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ۝٢٠٠ (200) O you who believe, be steadfast and try to excel in steadfastness and guard (the frontiers). And keep your duty to Allah that you may be successful.
